We created the décor of Trinity on the Esplanade to evoke the old world charm of the famous Raffles Hotel, then added a modern twist. The result is neutral fabrics, lime washed timbers, and white plantation shutters which enhance the romance of the tropics. A fresh water swimming pool completes the picture. With onsite management, we cater for daily breakfasts and can easily arrange special things to pamper you – like gourmet picnics or a bottle of champagne to share together on the lovely beach in front of the hotel. Standard Rooms are situated on the first level with glimpses of the beach and Coral Sea from the generous balconies. The interiors are elegant, tropical and comfortable with luxurious furnishings, Australian heritage linen, TV, private telephone, mini bar and fridge, robes and in-house music systems. Superior Rooms on the ground floor are elegantly appointed featuring lime-washed timber and cane furniture, neutral colour schemes, Australian heritage linen, and white timber shutters opening onto a private patio and luxurious bathroom (guests have a choice of spa bath or double shower). Each includes mini bar fridge, private telephone, cable TV, robes and in-house stereo systems. Unique ornaments and wall hangings create a delightful ambience. As with all rooms, superior rooms are fully air-conditioned, serviced daily and a full daily breakfast is included. The Bridal Suite is designed for romance. A luxurious four poster bed features soft muslin drapes, mounds of cushions and pillows, and exquisite luxury linen. The décor is unashamedly lavish, the walls adorned with Roman photography, the spa bath and robes inviting…this is the perfect retreat for a couples interlude. The Penthouse occupies the upper levels and includes a private study with computer and internet access. The beautifully presented and appointed rooms feature an extensive dining and lounge area (more than 80 sqm) with a large balcony to enjoy expansive views over the Coral Sea. Two bedrooms and two ensuite bathrooms (1 with luxury spa bath) make this a very flexible prestige accommodation. A grand piano, cable tv, CD/DVD player and a fully equipped designer kitchen with microwave, fridge, ice-making machine and European appliances complete the picture. LOCATION: Trinity Beach is situated only 15 km north of Cairns and 60 km south of Port Douglas. As its name suggests, Trinity on the Epslanade is positioned directly across from the golden sandy beach, along an Esplanade dotted with beach almonds and frangipani trees. Trinity Beach itself is a palm-fringed cove framed by twin headlands. Sit and appreciate the peace and tranquility, and you may be rewarded by the sight of dolphins diving together across the bay. Alfresco restaurants, together with a shopping precinct and service centre make Trinity Beach a first choice for all kinds of holidaymakers. There is a choice of restaurants, including Thai, Lebanese, Mediterranean or Italian. Or enjoy classic Aussie pub tucker just up the road at the Trinity Beach Hotel on the hill that overlooks the beach – it’s the ideal spot for a sundowner at the end of the day! The beach is a calm oasis with only non-motorised water sports permitted. The beach is patrolled by surf lifesavers and a stinger-proof swimming enclosure is in place during from November to May at our end of the beach.
